Artificial Grass Installation

The artificial grass installation process is a difficult and lengthy one that involves heavy machines, tons of gravel, dumpsters, mounds of dirt etc. The amount of work that is put in a turf install is usually under-estimated by the consumer. It takes certain skills and experience to perfectly shape and design synthetic lawn. That is why a turf install is not your common DIY project, nor is it something any landscaper can do. Our artificial grass installers have years of experience with hundreds of thousand of square feet installed under their belt.

Step 1: Sprinkler Shut Off - A synthetic grass installation begins with an examination of the existing sprinkler system. Our experienced sprinkler technician will locate and cap all existing sprinklers in the lawn area.  Sprinklers can also be rearranged upon special request. Once all sprinklers are capped in turf area, the technician will check to make sure there are no leaks and that everything is secured properly.

Step 2: Existing grass removal - Now begins the second stage of an artificial grass installation. All existing grass is removed properly with a sod cutter or a landscape pick. Choice of removal tool depends on the condition the grass is left. If grass is fresh, best way and quickest way to remove is with a sod cutter. If grass is dry, it is best to use a landscape pick.
